We are a hotel partner of the Municipality of Athens in separating and composting biowaste that stems from food remains and other eligible material.
In 2022 we become the first hotel chain in Greece to sign UNESCO's Sustainable Travel Pledge, based on our actions for a more environmentally-friendly outlook.
Founded in 2015, HOPEgenesis is a Greek non-profit company operating in the health and social welfare sector, which aspires to reverse the trend of declining birth rates in Greece. Its aim is to unearth, analyse and study the causes behind the issue of low birth rates so as to develop actions and movements that will reverse the negative birth-death ratio.

For over 10 years, this non-profit organization's goal has been protecting and re-homing animals. Fueled by perpetual love for animals, a team of individuals share the same vision: a country where pets will be stray no more whilst given the opportunity to live a decent life within a loving domestic environment. To reinforce their goal, SGS has created a shelter for stray animals, offering them a safe haven until their family comes along.
Being particularly sensitive to the matter, we are championing SGS's cause by offering part of our proceeds from pet stay fees. We also invite our guests to partake in our joint efforts with an optional €2 donation either during their booking or at check-out.
